The Internet and Email leads: The advent of the internet has really made the world so small and the people are directly in contact with each other. The main reason of the popularity of the email leads is that it was not considered as such a bad intrusion on the privacy of the user like the cold calling. The email leads were a very efficient method of advertising the product and the product had its own market among the required users. If the person had not signed up for such a service it would not be given to him.

Professional Organizations for generating leads: There are organizations that are exclusively dedicated to generating and storing the leads that were filtered and obtained through various surveys. It is divided and categorized based upon the need of the customer who had taken part in the survey.

Word of Mouth: Another major factor in sales lead generation is the word of mouth. The person satisfied with a product would generally refer others to the product. However this might take some time and if the company is in need of urgent leads they can always buy them from the sales leads generation organizations.
