Selling Things on Twitter & Facebook without Being Hated
Selling things on Twitter can help you with your marketing , but the microblogging website is becoming such a hotbed for sales people pitching products and services to you that merely signing up can feel like you'll need to prepare for online infomercial night mares. If you're planning to sell on Twitter, whether you are selling yourself, your time, service, your product, It's important to remember that there are people who are warning the new people to Twitter about you! Why you wonder? Because you may not be giving that much value to a new twitter user. It's possible that you may not be providing much value to an established user. To avoid being a spammy write off, or a sales pitch making salesman on Twitter, it's best to stay with Twitter's initial purpose as a nanoblogging system. 1. Twitter is a nano blog You wouldn't load up your traditional blog with spam content, loud and overbearing. It's best not to do it with your Twitter account either. 2. Twitter is a community of millions of people There are millions of other individuals on Twitter. This is why you chose Twitter to sell things on, am I right? Just remember that these twitter prospects are people and not just namelessm, faceless users. Interact with these people on a level that is interesting to the you both in order to create long term worthwhile relationships. If you do that, you may not only have a friend on twitter, but somebody who promotes you as well. Friends come in handy for recommendations (retweeting your tweets), telling their tweepulation of your good qualities. Don't forget to respond help out these twitter friends and reciprocate! If you're friendly and help others out, they will certainly help you out. I've been developing friendships online since 2007 via bloggingtips |
